Year 3 had a fantastic time at the National Science and Media Museum on Wednesday. The children were able to explore a range of exhibitions which focused on light (including gaming, television, the internet as well as animation. As part of our day we were treated to a superb ‘Light It Up’ show which covered a range of light related topic such as refraction and reflection. The show also included some really engaging experiments (including setting fire to a balloon) and other tests which some of the children were involved in helping. The Wonderlab exhibition in particular offered the children many fascinating hands on learning experience relating to light and sound which everyone relished. A very big thank you to our wonderful parent volunteers who came to support the trip and enabled it to happen. We couldn’t have done it without you all!
