Pupil Safety

Read the following information to find out how we keep all pupils safe at Green Lane.

At Green Lane Primary Academy, we have created a culture where safeguarding is given the highest priority and pupils are involved in creating a safe environment. Staff are vigilant and trained to identify when a child might be at risk and report their concerns.

Sometimes, we may need to share information and work in partnership with other agencies when there are concerns about a child’s welfare. We will share our concerns with parents/carers first unless we have reason to believe that by doing so, we would be putting a child at risk.

We actively support the government’s Prevent Agenda to counter radicalism and extremism.
