It’s been a very busy sporting week at Green Lane!

On Monday our KS2 cross country squad went to Brigshaw High School to take part in the East Leeds Cross Country Championships. There was lots of excitement as the team headed off on the coach!

Miss Bingley and Mr Brough along with Mrs Hector were very proud of how our children not only ran but also behaved. They showed excellent resilience and determination as they tackled the course. There were lots of fantastic performances but special mentions must go to the following children for their individual performances:

Leo P – 18^th (Year 3 boys)

Zaara – 9^th (Year 3 girls)

Clara – 12^th (Year 3 girls)

Archie J – 7^th (Year 4 boys)

Finley – 9^th (Year 4 boys)

Paisley – 8^th (Year 4 girls)

Amalie – 11^th (Year 5 girls)

​A particularly big well done to the following teams who have qualified for the Leeds City Finals @ Temple Newsam in February:
