Last week we had a very special visitor in school – freestyle footballer Jamie Knight! He is currently ranked in the world top 10 and was able to inspire us all with not only his skills but also his dedication and commitment to develop an amazing talent!

He spent time with all year groups either delivering an assembly or a workshop but it was a memorable day for us all and left us inspired to try and work hard on whatever talents we have (music, drama, sport). He even spent 30 minutes outside at lunchtime showing off his skills! 

Here is what some children from EYFS thought about the experience:

Grace T – “I loved it when he threw the ball back and kicked it, I was so surprised!”
Jackson – “I liked it the most when he was on the floor and kicked it through his legs”
Dylan – “I couldn’t believe how high he could kick the ball!”
Yusuf – “I liked it when he hopped the ball on his leg!”
Sophie – “When he put the ball on his finger, it was super-duper cool! It nearly exploded my eyes!”
