Academy Day
Nursery
- Morning sessions will start at 8.45am and run until 11.45am.
- Afternoon sessions would start at 12.15pm and finish at 3.15pm.
- Children attending all day, will therefore be in Nursery from 8.45am to 3.15pm.
- Lunches would run from 11.45am -12.15pm for children who attend any all-day session.
Reception through to Year 6
- Doors open at 8.40am and close at 8.50am.
- Registration will start at 8.45am and end at 8.50am.
- Anyone arriving after 8.50am will need to enter school through the office and will be marked as Late (L code).
- If anyone arrives after 9.15am – this will be listed as late after the register has closed and be considered as late after the register has closed (U code – unauthorised absence).
We strongly encourage a prompt start to the day, so that children can being learning with their peers.
Breaktime
We have one morning break where children can read or go outside to play.
Children can bring a health snack of fruit to eat during this time.
Lunch
Lunch time runs from 12-1pm.
During lunch, children can eat with their friends and then spend time outside on the playground, attending clubs or reading.
After School Clubs
We have a huge range of after school clubs that children can attend. Typically, they run from 3.15pm to 4/4.15pm. All children are collected from Reception at the end of the session. For more information, please contact the school office.
Garforth Kids Club
We have an on-site ‘kids club’ which offers wrap around care. This is not run by the school, but only children from Green Lane attend. For more information please see their website:
