Here’s what our parents think of the remote learning in Year 5:
- Mrs Carlisle, We just wanted to say a huge thank you for arranging online learning.
( and so quickly) It must be so difficult for the teachers and everyone involved.
The workload and the stress must be intense but please know it is so appreciated.
X’s had a fab day online learning. Each lesson is a godsend for us working mums
who have no idea to teach. Ms Sykes is amazing. Thank you again - Dear Mrs Mir, We will endeavour to ensure that X completes as much work as
possible, however, due to the challenging circumstances of home schooling and
the fast pace of work coming through, there may be aspects of the work which
is either delayed or indeed not completed. I, too, am working from home and
will do my best to support X with his learning but it cannot be expected that he
will complete each and every challenge/task in respect particularly to GLAM to
the same level as when attending school. I would, however, like to say that we
do appreciate the hard work of both yourself and all the staff at GLPA during
this unprecedented and difficult time.
- Dear Mrs Mir, Just a quick note to say thank you to yourself and Miss Jennings for all your support and patience with X and I this week. It’s been a difficult week for X and myself. X has had to work independently, while I worked upstairs separately. I’m sure
things will run smoother next week fingers crossed, especially with the loan of X’s chrome book. Have a lovely weekend. With thanks and kind regards.
- Hi! Thank you very much. X is absolutely thrilled. He’s worked really hard this week and he responds really
well to this kind of encouragement. Have a good weekend. - Many thanks for all you and your fantastic staff have done for the children during the pandemic. The efforts of Miss Sykes in particular have been fantastic in ensuring X had continuous education. 22-2-21
