Year 4 – work
The children in Year 4 have continued to produce fantastic pieces of work, whilst learning from home. Here is a selection of the things that they have been doing.
Sadly, Chestnut Class spend their final day of Year 4 in isolation but produced some great work based upon what they have been learning this ter. Well done 🙂
In English this week (8-2-21) we have been studying the poem ‘Fetid Lair’ The children have re-written their own versions and here is one being read aloud:
GLAM – Designing a Stone Age dwelling
The whole class text is ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’. Here is a video of some of the children reading a section aloud.
20-1-21 The children in Year 4 have started a new text map, focusing on instructions. Here is our map and an example of someone practising it:
In science the children have been creating their own animals, thinking about key information that they need to include.
w/b: 11-1-21 The focus in writing has been on leaflets. After looking at the different features and a range of great examples, children have finally created their own potion leaflets.
