This week Year 4 hosted 12 Whetley children for a morning at GLPA. This was a great experience for all the children involved and gave them the chance to meet children from many different backgrounds. Once we greeted the children the children shared powerpoints they had made about GLPA and Whetley. This was a great opportunity for children to spot things that are similar and different about the two schools. The children enjoyed this and were interested in sharing their school experiences. After this GLPA children showed the Wheltey children around the building and shared with them different aspects of school life at GLPA. The morning concluded with a discussion about 'What makes a good school' and a picnic lunch and play. This was a wonderful experience for all involved and something we hope to do again.
