Tuesday saw our Year 3 Kurling squad take part in the Garforth Schools New Aged Kurling competition. It was fantastic to see such skillful play, effort and committment from all our children. For those not familiar with New Age Kurling it is a sport that requires participants to deliver ‘stones’ from one end of the court to a target at the other end of the court. The target has red, white and blue concentric circles and scoring is determined by the number of stones closest to the centre of this target.
Green Lane came fourth overrall but it was a special event and a big well done to all those who took part.
