Both Year 3 classes had a fantastic time on Friday, participating in an Egyptian builders workshop. The children spent some time planning their structure, thinking about how they could ensure it was strong and would stand up and which materials they would need to use. Then they got on with the making, adapting things from their plan as they went along, until they had created their finished masterpiece! Some children decided to put their models together to create one larger piece. We had Giza, Khufu, The Sphinx and some creations which included The River Nile. Some quotes heard throughout the day were “This is the best day of school so far” and “I cannot believe how many pieces we have!”. Well done to everyone involved.
