On Tuesday 13th July, Y3 had a fantastic day at the Great Yorkshire Show. The children visited the animal enclosures and saw a wide variety of sheep, goats, cattle, horses, poultry and reptiles. So much to see and do.

The army area was a firm favourite with circuits, test your reaction time and climbing in and out of vehicles. The children visited the Discovery zone and  made wands from wood, did willow weaving, sausage making, face painting and a multitude of other activities. The children and staff thoroughly enjoyed the day.

“ I loved the wand making.” Clara

“ It was really, really good. I ate a bag of candy floss in 2 hours. I liked seeing the Ferris wheel and making my Harry Potter wand.” Alex

“A really fun day and I enjoyed seeing the animals, especially the pigs.” Ava
