Willow have been learning about the Great Fire of London. The children made houses and St Paul’s Cathedral from cardboard boxes using thick lines to represent the size and the texture of wood. Then they placed them close together to recreate the crowded streets. Finally, a clumsy baker caused a fire and the whole city went up in flames. Luckily there were some quick thinking city folk on hand to pass water forward and it wasn’t long before the fire was extinguished.
