On Tuesday this week our KS1 multi-skills team took part in the 2nd round of the Garforth Schools multi-skills tournament. The children were a great credit to the school and showed super focus and determination in all of the challenges they took part in. These included throwing as many bean bags as they could in a hoop in 20 seconds and bouncing a ball as many times as they could in 20 seconds along with trying to get a new-aged curling stone on a red spot. Well done to everyone for taking part and doing their very best!

Here’s what some of our children said:

Nela “We did long jump. We need to throw a bean bag into a hoop. Then we jumped from side to side for 20 seconds. The best bit was jumping side to side. People from the other schools were there too. It was super exciting!”
Harrison E “It was brilliant fun! My favourite (event) was doing the pushing thing!”
